Inside Line Promotions – FARLEY, Iowa (Aug. 17, 2020) – A mechanical gremlin hampered the SawBlade.com sponsored tractor pulling team last weekend during the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League’s 300 Raceway Farley Nationals.

David Esteb finished 17th and 24th, respectively, at 300 Raceway as Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition shut down early each day during ARP Light Weight Super Stock action.

“We were on a great pass and then it just quit,” Janet Esteb said in reference to Friday’s run. “We checked it out, but really didn’t find anything that went wrong.”

David Esteb went 278.53 feet on Friday. The team returned to the event on Saturday for the finale. However, the tractor stopped at 94.77 feet.

“We came off the line great and it sounded great, but then it just quit,” Janet Esteb said. “We’re thinking it is an ignition problem. We will check it out and hopefully put on a pass in Tipton, Ind., with the Indiana Pulling League on Saturday.”

The Esteb’s hope to compete this weekend to make sure the problem is fixed prior to the next Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event on Sept. 25-26 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., for the Pro Pulling League Nationals.

The SawBlade.com backed team currently ranks 11th in the championship standings – only one point out of the top 10 and 20 points out of the lead.
