Inside Line Promotions – WHEATLAND, Mo. (Sept. 28, 2020) – The 2020 season ended on a sour note for the SawBlade.com sponsored tractor team owned by David and Janet Esteb.
The Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition tractor was unable to complete a full pass last weekend during the Pro Pulling League Nationals hosted by Lucas Oil Speedway.
“We didn’t do good because of the problems we had been having,” Janet Esteb said. “Detonations had weakened other parts. We broke two rocker arms and one lifter so far. It did sound good coming off the line, but didn’t make a full pass.”
The Esteb’s entered the two-day event ranked 11th in the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League’s ARP Light Weight Super Stock Tractor division. Unfortunately, the weekend results like snapped a streak of top-10 finishes in the championship standings.
“We were very disappointed, but will try again next year,” Janet Esteb said. “I don’t know of any pulls left this year because of COVID-19. It was a very short year.
“We would like to thank SawBlade.com again for the sponsorship and the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League and crew for giving us a place to pull.”
