Inside Line Promotions – TIPTON, Ind. (Aug. 24, 2020) – Ignition woes hampered the SawBlade.com sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition tractor last Saturday at the Tipton Fairgrounds.
David Esteb competed in a different class than usual, but ran into a similar problem that has slowed his team down this summer.
“It was a light combo class, something (the) Indiana Pulling League was trying,” Janet Esteb said. “The class included light superstock tractors, one engine modified tractor and two engine naturally aspirated two engine mods.”
The team placed 11th in the standings after the run was shut down at 150.40 feet because of what the Esteb’s believe is an ignition problem. However, it was a positive to get another night in as the team works to troubleshoot the problem prior to the Pro Pulling League Nationals on Sept. 25-26 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.
The Esteb’s rank 11th in the ARP Light Weight Super Stock standings, but are only one point out of the top 10 heading into the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event.
